Photography or Filming Inside the Library

Members of the university

Photography or filming inside the Central Library requires prior application.

Application method

Please contact the library via email at least three business days prior to the date of photography or filming (excluding closed days), including the following information. Proceed with photography or filming only after receiving a reply (permission) from the library.

  1. Purpose of image production
  2. Publication method and publication date (website name or URL; for distributed materials, date issued, etc.)
  3. Desired date/time and location for photography or filming
  4. Names and affiliations of the person conducting photography or filming and accompanying staff
  5. Name and contact information of responsible party
Notes for photography or filming

Please observe the following guidelines when conducting photography or filming.

  • Pick up your permission slip at the counter on the day.
  • Ensure that other users are not captured in the frame.
  • If there is any possibility of someone appearing in the background, obtain their consent beforehand.
  • Inform the library counter when starting and finishing photography or filming.
  • Please be quiet to avoid disturbing library operations and other users.
  • Handle library materials, equipment, and facilities with care.
