Visits Inside the Library

Individual visits

In principle, visits by individuals who are high school students or older are accepted.

Capacity:
About five people per group
Application method:
No prior application is necessary. Please inform the reception counter when you visit.
Possible visiting days:
On days the library is open (including Saturdays); however, entry is not allowed from two weeks before the exam period through the end date of the exam period. Check the annual calendar for visitor use.
How to visit:
After receiving an explanation at the reception counter, visit the visitor-accessible areas on your own. Please take about 15 minutes for your visit.

Group visits

Group visits led by university-related people are accepted. Direct applications from individuals outside the university are not accepted.

For university-related people planning a library visit

Please contact the library in advance by email with the date, number of people, group name, etc. On the day, please guide and lead the visitors inside the library. Visitors cannot freely walk around the library alone.

Capacity
About 15 people per group. If there are more than 15 people, divide into separate groups for the visit. Each group requires a leader.
Possible visiting days
Days the library is open (including Saturdays). If there are overlapping visits at the same time, we will consult with you at the time of application.

Notes for visits

To maintain the study environment within the library, please observe the following rules during your visit. If these rules are not followed, you may be asked to leave the library.

Please be quiet to avoid disturbing other users.
Please refrain from the following.
- Using books, journals, and computers
- Eating and drinking inside the library. (Excluding hydration, only sealed beverages may be brought in)
- Photography or filming inside the library
- Taking breaks
