During the summer break of 2026, we will offer long-term book loans to its students and staff. Any materials borrowed or renewed during the summer long-term loan period will have a return due date on or after the start of classes.
Graduate students, research students, trainees, faculty (Regular loan period: 4 weeks)
Eligible items
- Hon-kan materials borrowed between July 16th (Thu) to September 8th (Fri)
- Hino-kan materials borrowed between July 16th (Thu) to September 4th (Fri) ※1
- Arakawa-kan materials borrowed between July 17th (Fri) to September 8th (Fri)
Return due date
- October 7th (Wed)
Undergraduates, Specialty Course Students, Premium College Students, and Course-Only Students (Regular loan period: 2 weeks)
Eligible items
- Hon-kan materials borrowed between July 30th (Thu) to September 18th (Fri)
- Hino-kan materials borrowed between July 30th (Thu) to September 4th (Fri) *1
- Arakawa-kan materials borrowed between July 31st (Fri) to September 18th (Fri)
Return due date
- October 7th (Wed)
Staff (Regular loan period: 2 weeks)
Eligible items
- Hon-kan materials borrowed between July 30th (Thu) to September 18th (Fri) *2

Notes
*1 The end date for long-term loans of Hino-kan materials that are set aside at the Hon-kan or Arakawa-kan through prior reservation or special request follows the end date of the long-term loan period at each library.
*2 Materials from Hino-kan and Arakawa-kan libraries are not eligible.
